This is easily one of the most amazing individuals in the history of music. I don't remember him being alive, cause I wasn't born yet, but I do remember his awesomeness. I can never forget; unless my memory gets wiped O_O

It was truly tragic when he was gunned down by Mark David Chapman on December 8, 1980. I remember this quite well. Howard Cosell announced it during a football game. This is my favorite musician and his music still resonates. He is sorely missed.
