I will always remember going to Yankees games with my dad and my brother when I was a kid. My dad would always pack food and drinks for us, because he thought the prices at the stadium were outrageous. We would sit somewhere in the upper deck, but to me it always felt like I was right above the dugout. I remember watching players like Mickey Rivers, Goose Gossage and Reggie Jackson, but looking back I think what meant the most was being there with my dad. He wasn't there because he loved the sport, he didn't even play baseball. He just knew how much seeing the Yankees meant to me and my brother so every year he'd take us to a few games. Today he's a Mets fan which still makes no sense to me.
