Muppet Babies

I don't remember enjoying "The Muppets" quite as much as I enjoyed the animated cartoon "Muppet Babies." The cartoon series featured Jim Henson's muppets as babies who go on imaginary adventures to pass the time while at a nursery. I liked that the series added a hint of innocence to each character and toned down some character traits that became annoying over time. For example, Miss Piggy wasn't a bossy and obnoxious diva as a baby. Kermit wasn't at all a pushover, but an imaginative and courageous leader who lends patience and understanding to a not-so-sharp but adorably naive Gonzo. And Fozzie? How could you want to throw any tomatoes at someone wearing a onesie? I loved this cartoon.
